Admission Procedure of Wageningen University & Research

Offering both Bachelor’s and Master’s courses, the Wageningen University and Research admission process is as follows:

• Students must use Studielink to select their program and apply to the university.
• After submitting the application in Studielink, students will receive an e-mail from the university. 
• The e-mail will consist of a student number and a link to the Osiris application portal.
• Students need to complete all the information required in the portal and upload all relevant documents.
• Then submit the application and wait for a response, usually about 6-8 weeks. 

Admission Requirements for Wageningen University & Research

Students need to fulfill specific criteria to enroll in the university. The Wageningen University and Research admission requirements for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are as follows:

For a Bachelor’s course

• Students must possess a secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent to the Dutch pre-university diploma
• Students must have studied certain subjects relevant to the program that they have chosen
• Students must fulfill the English requirement criteria; scoring 6 band in IELTS, 100 in TOEFL, score between 169-210 in Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) – C1 Advanced.
• Students need to fulfill the Dutch language requirements for programs taught in Dutch.

For a Master’s course

• Students should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field of science relevant to the chosen program.
• Students must have a satisfactory academic performance during the Bachelor’s as specified.
• Students must meet the English language requirements.
