The University of Texas at Austin, situated in Austin, Texas, is a public research university. It serves as the University of Texas System's flagship institution. As of Fall 2022, it had 52,384 students, making it the system's biggest institution. Founded in 1883, this university, which is regarded as a public ivy, is now a major center of research-led courses. 

The institution provides 139 graduate degree programs with 237 areas of study, in addition to 156 undergraduate degree programs in more than 170 disciplines of study. At UT Austin, there are 18 academic schools and colleges that provide a broad range of courses. 

The main campus of UT Austin includes instructional buildings, research facilities, residences, and other landmarks, in addition to 17 libraries and 7 museums. The Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, a multifunctional entertainment and sports arena, and a gym are also located on the campus. It is one of the biggest sports stadiums in the nation.
