Troy University Ranking 2024

Located in Troy, Alabama, Troy University is a public university. Originally part of the Alabama State University System, Troy State Normal School was established in 1887. Today, it serves as the flagship institution for the Troy University System. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS) has granted associate, baccalaureate, master's, education specialist, and doctorate degree accreditation to Troy University.

The university currently provides instruction to students at 60 teaching locations spread over 17 states and 11 countries, in addition to its four campuses in Alabama. More than 100,000 Troy University graduates can be found in all 50 states as well as foreign nations.

The main campus of Troy University is situated close to Troy's downtown. With many old oak trees lining the roadways and dotting the grounds, the school is situated along gently sloping slopes. John Robert Lewis Hall (originally Bibb Graves Hall) and Shackelford Hall were the first two structures constructed on campus, and they are both still standing today.

There are twelve residential halls available to Troy students who live on campus. The Trojan Dining Hall is a sizable, restaurant-style, two-story complex of spaces. Boar's Head Deli, Moe's Southwest Grill, The Wild Mushroom, Bella Trattoria, Flying Star Diner, Basic Kneads Artisan Bakery, and Magellan's are a few of the eateries located inside the dining hall. There's an outside dining area with a giant fountain in the hall as well.
