Georgia Tech University Ranking 2024

The Georgia institution of Technology is a public research university and institution of technology located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is also known as Georgia Tech and GT, or simply Tech or the Institute in the state of Georgia. It was founded in 1885 and is a member of the University System of Georgia. It also has satellite campuses in Singapore, Shenzhen, China, Metz, France, and Savannah, Georgia.

With a focus on science and technology, Georgia Tech is currently divided into six colleges and has roughly thirty-one departments and academic units.

A component of student and alumni life is structured and intramural student athletics. The four-time national football champion Yellow Jackets, the school's intercollegiate competitive sports teams, and the well-known fight song "Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech" have all contributed to Georgia Tech's continued national prominence. Eight men's and seven women's teams from Georgia Tech participate in both the Football Bowl Subdivision and NCAA Division I athletics. A part of the Atlantic Coast Conference is Georgia Tech. The notable alumni are Jeff Foxworthy, Jan Davis and Roman Reigns.
