The University of Northampton, situated in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England, is a public university. Several training colleges came together to form it in 1999, and in 2005 it attained full university status to become the University of Northampton.

In 2018, the University of Northampton built a new campus at Waterside to replace its previous Avenue and Park campuses. The older campuses house 16,000 students in residential halls that are furnished with all the necessities. The new primary resident hall at Northampton Waterside, situated on the bank of the river Nene, is called the student community of Waterside Campus. 

The University of Northampton offers approximately 220 programs at different academic levels to international students. The university provides foundational degrees, joint honors degrees, bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees through remote learning, as well as full research-based degrees.
