Located in London, England, SOAS University of London is a public research university that is a part of the federal University of London. Located in central London's Bloomsbury district, SOAS was established in 1916. One of the top universities in the world for studying Asia, Africa, and the Middle East is SOAS. One of England's five national research libraries is its library. Additionally, SOAS is home to the Brunei Gallery, which presents and promotes the cultures of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East through a rotating schedule of modern and historical exhibitions. 

The three faculties that make up SOAS are the Faculty of Languages and Cultures, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, which houses the SOAS School of Law. The institution provides more than 100 one-year master's degree programs, 350 bachelor's degree combinations, and PhD programs in almost all departments. Numerous heads of state, cabinet ministers, ambassadors, central bankers, Supreme Court justices, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, and numerous more well-known international figures have come from this university.
