Cardiff Metropolitan University is situated in Cardiff. The institution provides degree programs in a range of subject areas. There are full-time, part-time, and undergraduate and graduate study options available, as well as research opportunities. More than 11,500 students from more than 140 countries are enrolled at the university for the 2021/22 academic year, and more than 10,000 are enrolled at 17 partner institutions in 15 other countries.

Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff School of Technologies, Cardiff School of Art & Design, and Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences (Llandaff) are all located in Llandaff.  Cardiff School of Education & Social Policy and Cardiff School of Sport & Health Sciences (Cyncoed) are located in Cyncoed. It provides housing on-site and a brand-new Campus Centre that was specially designed. 

Student housing is provided close to Cardiff Metropolitan University's campuses in Cyncoed and Plas Gwyn. The university also has arrangements with private residences, including Victoria Hall, which is close to the Llandaff Campus and has 198 beds earmarked for students, as well as T Pont Haearn in the city center, which has 179 beds for students.

According to Times Higher Education (THE) Subject Rankings 2023, Cardiff Metropolitan University is ranked #601-800 in Clinical, Pre-clinical and Health, and #501-600 in Education. In Education, the University is ranked #501-600, and in European Teaching, it is ranked #151-200.  

Employability Ranking

Cardiff Met is currently regarded as the 16th best university in the UK out of a total of 143 universities for graduate employability, up from being recognized as the top university in Wales for graduate employability earlier this year.
