The Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), which is located in the center of the high-tech industrial heartland of the Netherlands, has been a major force behind the development of the Dutch knowledge economy for the past 60 years. 

Within its nine main departments—Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Built Environment, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science—TU/e offers admissions to fifteen undergraduate and forty-eight graduate courses.

TU/e Green Campus is Situated in the heart of Eindhoven, the campus is a bustling, verdant area. Regardless of their actual length of stay, students applying for lodging through TU/e are offered a housing contract for a set term of one semester. A certain amount of exchange students' lodging cannot be guaranteed by the university. 'First come, first served' policy will apply to student seating. If a student has to stay for a longer amount of time or if the maximum number of students has been reached, they are responsible for finding their own lodging. Exchange students can stay in a variety of TU/e accommodations at Friendly Housing and Vestide.

According to QS Top Universities, Eindhoven University is ranked #77 in the QS WUR Ranking by Subject 2023. According to THE subject-wise 2023 rankings, Eindhoven University ranks 126-150 in Arts and Humanities, 72 in Computer Science, =84 in Engineering and Technology, 176-200 in Physical Sciences, and 151-175 in Social Sciences.
