Advanced Clinical Practice - Postgraduate Certificate at University of Limerick

The School of Population and Public Health offers a research-oriented Master of Science degree program. Open to students with a wide range of academic backgrounds, the program enables students to gain core knowledge and skills in epidemiological and biostatistical methods and gain research experience by applying these methods to a thesis under the supervision of a faculty member. Students can pursue thesis research in a wide variety of topics related to the health of populations and the delivery of health services.

This programme will empower you to confidently meet the clinical and logistical challenges of working in complex and unpredictable situations; overseas, in low resource settings, on expedition or within your UK practice. The programme has two pathways to allow you to tailor your learning to your own specific needs. There is a leadership pathway to allow you to gain advanced knowledge and practice to become a global healthcare leader of the future. An alternate is to take the remote and rural pathway specifically gaining skills for practising as a wilderness medic in some of the worlds most isolated locations.
