The University of Bonn, originally the Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn, is situated in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a public research university that was established 205 years ago, in 1818. 

The University of Bonn offers 100 graduate programs in addition to 112 undergraduate programs that are available to both native and foreign students. There are seven faculties or schools that provide more than two hundred programs. 

The University of Bonn is housed in 349 buildings spread across five main campuses: Campus Poppelsdorf, Campus Endenich, Campus City, Campus Klein-Altendorf (Faculty of Agriculture), and Bonn-Venusberg (University Hospital). The University Hospital Bonn, the University and State Library, the Museums and Collections, the Faculty Libraries, and the University Computer Center are a few of the structures on the university campus.

Studienwerk Bonn is in charge of overseeing housing at the University of Bonn. Up to 3,620 spots are available in 33 residential units (28 residential halls), catering to both domestic and international students. These lodging options include apartments, duplex apartments, single rooms in shared flats, and apartments with two to four rooms for student parents.
