Hamburg University of Technology Ranking 2024

German research universities include the Hamburg University of Technology (TU Hamburg). After the institution was established in 1978, classes began in 1982–1983. At the TUHH, there are about 1,475 employees (639 scientists, including researchers with external funding) and about 100 senior lecturers/professors. It is situated in the southern Hamburg neighborhood of Harburg.

The majority of Hamburg University of Technology is housed on a single campus. Nearly all of the buildings are situated between "Am Schwarzenberg-Campus" and Eißendorfer Straße. There are a few exceptions to this, though, such as the Hamburg Innovation Port and the Technologiezentrum Hamburg-Finkenwerder (the Hamburg-Finkenwerder Center of Technology).

The main campus is divided into two halves by the roadway Denickestraße. The northern part has a larger paved courtyard, while the southern half is concentrated around a number of tiny ponds and trees.

As per US News Subject Ranking, Hamburg University of Technology is ranked #599 in Engineering, and #570 in Materials Science. According to THE (Times Higher Education) Subject Ranking 2024, the University is ranked #401-400 in Engineering and Technology.

According to THE, the Employability Rank 2022 of Hamburg University of Technology is #114, and the Graduate Employability Rank is #9.
