In the United Kingdom, Arden University is a private, for-profit institution of higher learning. It provides a range of undergraduate and graduate programs with possibilities for online and blended learning delivery. With study centers in Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Berlin, it has its headquarters in Coventry. It was first founded in 1990 under the name Resource Development International (RDI). In 2015, Capella Education acquired it, and the British government granted it university status. Global University Systems has been the owner of it since August 2016.

Arden's own degree programs gradually replaced the formerly externally recognized RDI degree programs starting in January 2016. 5,700 students were enrolled at Arden University as of November 2017, of which 2,500 were enrolled in the school's own programs. Of its students, about 44% were from outside the United Kingdom, and subject to international admission. 

The university provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Masters and MBA levels, in several subject areas. These include, as of 2019, criminology, data analytics, graphic design, human resource management, law, marketing, psychology, tourism, and business and management as well as computing and IT, criminology, and graphic design.

Additional accreditation has been granted to a number of Arden's degree programs by associations for project management, the British Psychological Society, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and the Chartered Management Institute. LLB (Hons) degree from the university is a qualifying legal degree.

Full-time and part-time students can enroll in Arden University's courses, which are offered as blended learning—a combination of in-person and online instruction at one of the university's study centers—or distant learning, which is conducted exclusively online.
