Numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees are available at Laurentian. The biggest multilingual remote learning provider in Canada is Laurentian.

Situated south of the central core of Greater Sudbury, the university's campus is situated in the Bell Grove neighborhood on the southern bank of Ramsey Lake. The Lake Laurentian Conservation Area borders the university campus to the south, and the city's Idylwylde golf course borders it to the west. There is a network of trails in the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area that can be utilized for mountain biking, nordic skiing, and running. Apart from the Graduate Student Association, the school has two distinct student unions.
