What is Vocational Studies

Vocational studies is sometimes called vocational education or career and technical education (CTE). This includes all instructional programs which qualify students to perform certain job tasks in different trades or professions. These courses entail practical or job-oriented training in diverse subject areas, including health care, automotive, hotel management, and information technology. The vocational courses aim at preparing learners for career jobs to become practitioners in their respective fields of study upon finishing their training. Often acting as a link between formal education on the one hand and the skills required for different industries on the other side.
