In simple terms, Dentistry is the study of Teeth, related anatomical structures, various oral disorders and their treatments. It is a complex branch of life sciences which not only deals with dental subjects but also involves the study of pathology, biochemistry and physiology of the human body. One who boasts expertise in dentistry is known as a dentist. By the virtue of this branch of health science, it even is possible to correct the malformation and/or misalignment of several oral and related structures.
