What is Computer Management

Computer management comprises the process of monitoring, managing and optimizing a computer system for availability, performance, security and/or any base functional requirement. It broadly includes manual and automated administrative procedures in the operations of a computer. It permits access to admin tools, like the Event Viewer, local users and groups, Task Scheduler, performance logs and alerts, Disk Management, Device Manager, and the Services manager. Computer Management can be used by an administrator to perform the given actions on local and remote machines:

Develop and manage shares

Manage services like DNS and DHCP
