What is Librarianship

It refers to a sphere of professional activity and training related to distributing and processing informational materials in the library and information institutions. It is imperative that librarians acquire, catalog, and provide access to different materials such as books, electronic resources, and multimedia content. These staff help users locate a subject matter, conduct research, and effectively use library resources. Other roles include the development of library policies, digital services, and community programs performed by librarians. Simply put, librarians help people to learn by providing them with knowledge and information and motivating lifelong education in different educational and public environments.
