The fall 2021 acceptance rate of the Woodbury University is 63%. Students getting admission into the Woodbury University have average ACT scores between 17 and 127, and average SAT scores between 940 and 1220. 

Admission eligibility criteria 

  • The applicants need to score at least a 2.5 GPA, on a scale of 4.0 (unweighted), holding a high school degree from a recognized institution. 
  • Candidates applying from non-English speaking countries need to appear for the English Proficiency Test, with a TOEFL score of 61/120 and an IELTS score of 6/9. 
  • ACT or SAT scores are not mandatory for freshman applicants, but they may submit these scores to the university to strengthen their applications. 

Documents required 

  • The applicants need to submit a non-refundable application fee of $85 to the university. 
  • For freshman application, high school transcripts are required and this must include the 11th grade. This is applicable to everyone who has not yet graduated during the time of application. 
  • Proof of English Proficiency Tests must be submitted by the applicants and this may include either of the TOEFL (61), IELTS (6.0), and Duolingo (90). 
  • The freshman candidates may submit their college entrance scores i.e., ACT or SAT, to strengthen their applications, however, it is not mandatory.  
  • The freshman candidate may even submit a letter of recommendation to the university, but this is optional. 
  • The applicants may as well submit a personal essay to the university, but this is optional. 
  • A portfolio must be submitted by the applicants, and this is highly recommended for Animation applicants and especially for Graphic Design Majors. 
  • The applicants must submit a copy of their passport. 
  • The applicants must submit a proof of financial soundness.

  • ACT (American College Testing) or SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test): optional
  • GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) or GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
  • MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) for medical applications 
  • LSAT (Law School Admission Test) for law applicants.
