The advanced manufacturing emphasis gives heightened focus to the content areas of advanced manufacturing processes, production management and computer-aided manufacturing.

With an emphasis in computer-aided drafting and design, students receive training in engineering analysis, product research and development, as well as mathematics, science, manufacturing management, industrial materials and processes.

The metal casting emphasis is one of 21 programs on the North American continent that have been recognized by the Foundry Educational Foundation as a Certified School. Students learn from respected professionals in the metal casting field.
