The University of Kansas is accredited by the North Central Accrediting Association through its Higher Learning Commission. The bachelor's degree programs in architectural engineering, aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, computer engineering, and engineering physics are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.  This university has a total undergraduate enrollment of 19,128  and has 2900 faculty members and it follows a semester-based academic calendar.
