Master of Science in Construction Engineering at The University of Utah

The Master of  Science (MS) degree program is intended for persons having an accredited baccalaureate degree in civil engineering. Students interested in the MS degree program should consult the Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Civil Engineering. The University of Louisville is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award master's degrees.

Since the Civil Engineering MEng is accredited as part of a five-year program with one-year of co-op experience, it is only available for students who have matriculated through the Civil Engineering bachelor degree program at Speed School. Therefore, students who earn an undergraduate degree at a school or university other than the University of Louisville pursue the MS degree instead of the MEng degree.

Civil engineers build our physical world - roads and buildings, bridges and tunnels, airports and subway systems, water and sewage systems. They may specialize in foundation analysis, building and structural inspection, surveying and municipal planning.
