The campus is spread across almost 60 park-type acres within a residential portion of Billings. Trees and perennials enhance the greenery of the campus and make it welcoming for the 1,000 admitted students.Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design campus covers 23 acres and has the title of National Historic District. There are 17 structures on the campus, of which 11 are marked for classrooms and generalareas. There are also different support spaces such as studio areas and four galleries. Steele Gallery comprises the biggest on-campus gallery, the Rude Gallery is more of a private area within the Rude Building.
