Monroe College is a for-profit college with its main campus in the Bronx, New York City. It also has campuses in New Rochelle and Stamford, Connecticut. The college was founded in 1933 as a two-year business school. It became a four-year institution in 1975 and was granted university status by the New York State Board of Regents in 2010.
