The program includes academic study and internships in critical areas of accounting, including financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and management accounting. At the same time, you will gain an understanding of the contemporary context in which accounting operates, through study in general business topics, including business communication and quantitative methods in business, information systems, finance, business organizations, business law, and professional ethics.

The business management major is designed to develop the authoritative perspective and personal leadership skills that successful managers need.

The entrepreneurship major develops the skills needed to gain advantage in the industry sector projected to grow the fastest in the decades to come: small and startup businesses. Current data shows that successful entrepreneurs and established business leaders share a key trait – an integrated managerial perspective that has been called "intrepreneurship." These individuals are change agents with common characteristics like motivation, risk tolerance, persuasiveness, and creativity.

The program is designed to give you a strong foundation in the strategic, analytical, and tactical skills necessary to launch your own business or to become an innovative contributor to an established company or family business.

Earning a degree in Healthcare Management, one of the fastest growing and changing industries, will enable you to engage in an interdisciplinary program that combines traditional management coursework with elements of related fields like public health and healthcare policy. Explore the latest trends and challenges affecting healthcare—including those in health insurance, health care finance, and reimbursement.

With a B.S. in Healthcare Management you will be able to pursue careers in hospital administration, public health, rehabilitation administration, insurance underwriting, medical and health service management, social service management, healthcare analysis, and healthcare communications in for profit and nonprofit organizations as well as government agencies.

The major encourages you to engage in active problem solving. You will have countless opportunities to devise creative strategies and develop a variety of branding and promotional solutions - taking a hands-on approach to writing, designing, and presenting your ideas and finished work. These might include integrated marketing plans, print advertisements, video scripts, and branded content for social media.

This major provides a broad understanding of the industry and prepares you for success post-graduation as you build your own professional portfolio and complete a series of valuable internships. Marketing communication/advertising graduates typically go on to careers in advertising agencies, PR firms, or a variety of in-house marketing departments, although their communication and creative skills are highly valued by and transferable to other industries.

Through the program, you will gain an understanding of the broad marketing landscape through foundational coursework in topics like consumer behavior, marketing research, economics, and communication. Elective courses delve into a wide array of subdisciplines that include courses in international marketing, branding, advertising, retail, social media, and more. The marketing major is inherently flexible. Individual interests can be met through a combination of coursework and closely coordinated individualized study in the semester-long internship and senior thesis. For example, three distinct specializations include consumer product development and merchandising; advertising and promotional communications administration, and international marketing. Our faculty and advisors can help you customize your degree so that you will be able to demonstrate your value clearly to competitive graduate programs or potential employers.

In addition to the general education requirements for the associate degree, you will complete all six of the business courses required towards the first two years of the Bachelor of Science in Business Management program. Also, you will need to complete three additional business or related electives for a total of 10 courses or 30 credits in your major.

You may either finish your college studies with the associate degree or continue on to complete the bachelor's degree program without missing a step.

At its heart, the bioengineering program is highly interdisciplinary, encompassing foundational coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science. As a bioengineering major at Endicott, you will apply this knowledge in upper division engineering courses focused on team-based design and analysis. With your well-rounded liberal arts education here, you will be able to relate subject matter in your major to other disciplines, and you will develop important skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.

The bioengineering program prepares you for a wide variety of careers involved in advancing health and medicine, as well as graduate programs in engineering or health professions such as medical, dental, or veterinary school. The program has been designed with ABET accreditation in mind and is anticipated within the next three years.

The engineering curriculum integrates coursework from other STEM areas and leverages our strong programs in applied mathematics, bioengineering, and computer science. You’ll take a set of core general engineering courses and explore many different electives—across disciplines—or choose to focus your electives and pursue one of our four program tracks.

Endicott's versatile mathematics program promises you a well-rounded education in both current and classical theories and techniques, with a strong emphasis on cutting-edge problem solving. Advanced coursework will focus on the applied aspects of mathematics and technology, giving you tools for success across disciplines like mathematical modeling, statistics, risk management, and data analysis. Combined with Endicott’s liberal arts foundation and experiential learning through internship opportunities, your mathematics degree will make you a strong candidate for employment or graduate studies.

Businesses, governments, and other enterprises can largely attribute their success to striking a careful balance between risk and reward. That's where actuarial science comes in. The answers to important questions always lie within the data. Actuaries uses mathematical modeling and statistics to help organizations assess risk and make informed decisions in often volatile environments. The actuarial science concentration prepares you to take the Financial Mathematics (FM) and Probability (P) Exams, administered by the Society of Actuaries.

In the post-genome era, as incredible advances have unlocked our genetic information, biotechnology has emerged as the third great technological revolution of our time, along with the Industrial and the computer/information technology revolutions before it. As a student in the biology and biotechnology program at Endicott, you'll receive cutting-edge technical training in courses and laboratory sessions that, together, provide knowledge and methodological skills in areas like:

Biology majors can pursue Massachusetts state licensure by completing the secondary education concentration. In doing so, you will be eligible to receive a license to teach Biology, grades 8-12, in Massachusetts.

You will complete freshman and sophomore internships in a range of school settings, a sophomore and junior field experience connected to your secondary education courses, a junior year pre-practicum, and senior year full practicum experience. Upon graduation, you will have completed all of the requirements necessary to apply for an initial license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you will be eligible to pursue licensure in many other states. Students receive free preparation for the required Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) as part of the program.

Endicott's computer science program prepares you to play an active role in the rapidly evolving world of computer- and information-driven technology.

Through the computer science program, you will study and learn to design, develop, implement, and manage computer-based information systems. You will receive a firm foundation in programming and software design before pursuing myriad elective options in web and mobile design, networking, security, physical computing, and data engineering. You will explore the societal impacts of technological advancement, critically examining issues that arise from the development and growth of computer applications.

Environmental science focuses on a study of the natural world. You will take courses in science supplemented by electives in geography, history, sociology, politics, and philosophy to understand the many ways in which factors like human activity, industrial growth, government policies, and social trends affect the environment. Faculty members infuse their courses with excitement and purpose, guiding students through critical research projects and training them to utilize state-of-the-art laboratory and field equipment.

Environmental science majors may pursue Massachusetts state licensure by completing the secondary education concentration. In doing so, you will be eligible to receive a license to teach Earth and Space Science, grades 8-12, in Massachusetts.

This program will prepare students to enter one of the fastest growing entertainment industries. Students will be able to pursue careers and internships in esports marketing, promotion and event coordination, competition management, event production, team management, media production and distribution, esports finance, esports law, gaming and game development, and professional streaming and blogging.

In 2019, NewZoo estimated the total revenue of the esports market would cross $1.1 billion. Following this, the market saw immense growth going into 2020 with a 15% rise on the previous year. Beyond this, their estimate for 2021 is looking at a further year-on-year growth of 14.5%.

In exceptional circumstances, students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program may petition to receive an Associate of Science in Integrated Studies.

An Associate in Science in Integrated Studies is available to students based upon specific circumstances.

The sport management program at Endicott provides you with academic knowledge and practical experiences that foster an understanding of and appreciation for the sport industry. We promise an academically rigorous experience within a student-centered learning environment that promotes professionalism, collegiality, and scholarship.

As with all Endicott programs, internships are a critical part of our curriculum, and they frequently lead directly to employment upon graduation. In sport management, internship opportunities typically include professional sport teams, intercollegiate athletics, sport marketing firms, amateur sports organizations, resorts, and health and fitness clubs.
