Elmhurst University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission which is a regional accreditation agency recognised by the U.S. Department of Education. Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education gives accreditation to the baccalaureate degree program in nursing. The department of education is accredited by ISBE and the occupational therapy master's degree program is accredited by ACOTE of AOTA. The Chemistry programme is accredited by the American Chemical Society. The university has 2,838 undergraduate students, including adult and part-time students and 583 graduate students and 39 ELSA students. The university has 158 full-time faculty of which about 82% hold the highest degree in their field.

This university is located in a suburban area with 48 acres. This university offers more than 100 activities from Greek life to internal activities to the Mock Trial Team. This university offers many student services including a women's centre, placement services, health insurance, healthy service, nonremedial tutoring and many more. The late-night care service, 24-hour emergency telephones, day-night security, and lighted sideways are also in the offered services. This university offers many courses including graduate, undergraduate, doctoral and post-doctoral programmes and many other online programs. This university also provides lab facilities and library facilities for its students.

Elmhurst University Acceptance rate (General)

Elmhurst University's admission process is selective with an acceptance rate of 75% and an early acceptance rate of 65.2%. Half of the admitted applicants should have an ACT score of 22 and 29 or an SAT score between 1018 and 1220.  On the other hand, one-quarter of the admitted students achieved scores above these ranges and one-quarter scored below these ranges.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate students should have to produce a 10+2 high school certificate. GPA is considered an important academic factor in this university. ACT or SAT scores must be in the eligibility criteria to get admitted here.
