University Campus, Facilities, Labs and Courses

The University has a picturesque campus spread over 85 acres approximately in Alabama. It has various buildings and halls dedicated to different purposes, including residences for the faculties, safety office, library etc. It is a tobacco-free campus located equidistance from Nashville and Birmingham. It has over 50 majors and 40 minor courses that they offer to its students. Admission Eligibility Criteria

The University has a simple criterion for applying for admission to undergraduate programs. A student needs to apply through the University’s portal ‘BearTreacks’ along with a non-refundable fee of 30 dollars. They would also need to submit all the transcripts from any previous college or university that a student attended if they did and are seeking a transfer now. The student can choose to send their transcripts both electronically or via postal mail. The student should have a minimum of 36 earned transferable semester hours from an accredited institution. They should also have a 2.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0 and 15 minimum hours of general education requirement. The applicant student must also be eligible to be able to return back to the previous college. In other words, they must not have been suspended from their previous college. Students seeking to apply to graduate programmes shall have to meet different criteria depending upon the course that they choose. Different programmes have different requirements and to be eligible for them, the students shall have to meet the required criteria.

Documents, Test and Average Score Required

The students applying for admission are required to have their transcript submitted from the last attended school or college. They would also need to have their GPA above 2.0 on a scale of 4.0. There are not any specific requirements for any tests mentioned on the university’s website for the undergraduate programme. But depending upon the course being taken up, there might be certain test scores or documents that might be required while taking admission in the graduate courses.
