Please note that A-level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by King's as one of your A levels.

Must include grades A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics (in any order). If you are not studying Further Mathematics, an AS Level grade A in Further Mathematics can be considered instead, only if you additionally achieve/have achieved a grade 3 in any STEP paper or a Merit in AEA Mathematics. Notes: If you are taking linear A-levels in England, you will be required to pass the practical endorsement in all Science subjects. This is with the exception of private candidates who are unable to take the practical component. We do not consider the EPQ at any point of the assessment process.

Indian High School Leaving Certificate (from CBSE and CISCE boards only) from Standard XII with 90% overall

Required subject:

Where our online prospectus asks for a specific subject grade at A-level, we would require the following: A* - Achieve 90% in the required subject; A - Achieve 85% in the required subject; B - Achieve 80% in the required subject. We are unable to accept Applied Maths to meet an A level Maths subject requirement. We are unable to accept Biotechnology to meet an A level Biology subject requirement.
