About The University 

The University of Wollongong, situated in Wollongong, was established in 1951 as a department of the New South Wales University of Technology. Later in 1975, the university became an independent institution. This university has several campuses across the country, such as Greater Sydney, NSW South Coast, Nowra, and Southern Highlands. 

As per the World University Rankings 2023 report, the University of Wollongong QS ranking is 185. The University of Wollongong is divided into five faculties and features more than 300 degree courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. In 1993, the university launched a campus in Dubai. 

At the University of Wollongong, local and international students have access to various scholarships. About 30% of students who study in Australia at the University of Wollongong are international students. As per the 2019 Good Universities Guide, the University of Wollongong is titled as the leading public university for student experience in Australia.
