It was founded in 1949, originating from the Sydney Mechanics Institute in 1843.This was followed by the Sydney Technical College in 1878, finally leading to the University of New South Wales in 1958. Located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, the University of New South Wales (UNSW), often known as UNSW Sydney, is a public research institution. About Campus and Accommodation

The majority of UNSW's faculties are located on the main campus, which is a 38-hectare (94-acre) property in Kensington, Sydney.  Geographically, the upper campus and lower campus form the main UNSW campus in Kensington, which were granted to the university in three different lots. Canberra is home to UNSW Canberra at ADFA, also known as UNSW at ADFA or just UNSW Canberra. It has an integrated defence focus with specific strengths in defence-related, security, and engineering research because its students come from the military academy known as ADFA and are undergoing training for the Australian Defence Force.

The University of New South Wales Admission Process

Each online application submitted by applicants in the University of New South Wales will be subject to a AUD $125 non-refundable application processing fee. Anyone applying to the University of New South Wales, must meet the following criteria:

Available Scholarships for University of New South Wales

UNSW has two scholarship programs: “International Scientia Coursework Scholarship” and “Future of Change Scholarship” through which they offer thousands of scholarships to international and domestic students. International Scientia Coursework Scholarship,the university's most prestigious scholarship, is given to individuals who have excelled academically, demonstrated leadership, participated actively in extracurricular activities, and have a strong desire to attend UNSW.
