Diploma of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering) at Melbourne Polytechnic

This course equips you with the basics of engineering before you specialise in one of two exciting streams - Civil Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering. In the Civil Engineering stream, you'll learn from and work with senior civil and structural engineers involved in the design and construction of buildings, bridges, airports, dams and reticulation systems. In the Mechatronic Engineering stream, you'll assist senior designers, production supervisors and engineers involved in the design and management of mechanical and mechatronic systems. Melbourne Polytechnic's dedicated state-of-the-art engineering facilities include a purpose built Building and Construction training centre, AutoCAD Training Centre, industrial robots and fully equipped workshops.
