Established in 1846, the University of Mount Union is a private institution that started to offer equal opportunities to all genders and races. Youngstown State University is a public institution in Youngstown, Ohio. It was founded in 1908 by the YMCA, which later transferred its leadership.

Utah Valley University is a leading public university in Orem, Utah. It is ranked at 90-117 (U.S. News 2023) in the Regional Universities West tally. It was founded in 1941 under the name of Central Utah Vocational School. 

The Utah Legislature voted in unison in 2007 to transform the Utah Valley State College into a University. The official transformation took place on July 1, 2008. Utah Valley University has accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The institution has 40,936 students, with an average class size of 23. Salem State University (SSU) in Massachusetts, USA, is a public, non-profit educational institution focused on bringing together diverse communities of students. Since its establishment in 1854 as Salem Normal School, the institution has focused on student-centered learning. 

Initially, the university was reserved for women's education before becoming a co-educational institution in 1892. It finally converted to Salem State University in 2010. Purdue University is a public land-grant research university in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. It ranks 129 in the QS (2023) and 105 in THE (2022) world university rankings. The institution's inception occurred in 1862 when President Lincoln signed the Morrill Land Grant Act. The Indiana General Assembly voted for the establishment of an institution in 1865. 

The Lafayette area was selected in 1869, while John Purdue contributed a gift of $150,000.The new school was named Purdue University. Classes started in 1874. The institution has accreditation from the HLC-NCA.

Lancaster University is a public research university situated in the United Kingdom (UK). It has been a top school in north-western England for more than ten years now.

Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) was established as Joplin Junior College held in the Joplin High School in 1937. The college was overseen by the University of Missouri's extension division and H.E. Blaine was appointed as its first dean. It was renamed as Jasper County Junior College in 1964. In 1965, legislation was passed forming the four-year institution called Missouri Southern College.

The new 320-acre campus was opened under the supervision of the first president Dr. Leon C. Billingsly in 1967. The college became Missouri Southern State College in 1972. It was granted the status of a university and received its current name in 2003. Currently, the university holds the accreditation of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

The Black Hills University (BHSU) was initially founded in 1883 as a public university. The university is situated in the heart of Spearfish, South Dakota, USA. It is ranked 119 - 157 in Regional Universities Midwest and 40-52 in Top Public Universities in the Midwest, as per US News & World Report. 

BHSU is home to over 3,500 students and 132 faculty members.
