University of West London Ranking 2024

The University of West London was founded back in the year 1860 with the founding of the Lady Byron School. The institution was renamed the Ealing College of Higher Education, receiving the status of a university in the year 1992. It became the University of West London in the year 2010. The institution has two campuses in West London, in Brentford and Ealing respectively. The campus at Ealing went through extensive renovation while the campus at Brentford has the School of Human and Social Sciences along with the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare along with the Nursing Simulation Centre and Claude Littner Business School.

The university also has its Berkshire Institute of Health at the Fountain House which is situated in the Reading-based town centre. The institution was created for training midwives and nurses in collaboration with the NHS. 

The University of West London also has the acclaimed London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism under its belt along with the School of Computing and Engineering, School of Law and Criminology, London College of Music and the London School of Film, Media, and Design under its belt. 

The University of West London Global Rankings

The University of West London ranking was 74 in the 2022 Times Good University Guide while it ranked 35th in the 2022 Guardian University Guide. It also ranked as the top modern university in London and eighth in the UK. It is also placed at number 52 (overall) and also at number 4 (teaching quality) in The Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020. It was also voted as the top university in London in terms of overall satisfaction of students in the 2019 National Student Survey. The 2018 Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 ranked it as the top institution in London for teaching quality and student experience. The Teaching Excellence Framework also recognized the university with the Silver Award. 

The University of West London ranking is also number 74 in the SI-UK rankings. It also achieved a position of 94th out of 130 in The Complete University Guide rankings for 2022. 

The university offers 232 courses, one online course, and two sandwich courses. The university stands 104th out of 105 in accounts and finance.
