The University of Greenwich is situated at London and Medway and is a public university. The University of Greenwich UK was founded in 1890. It was earlier called the Woolwich Polytechnic and Thames Polytechnic before attaining university status in 1992. The institution has 21,000+ students on its rolls across its Education and Health, Architecture, Computing and Humanities, Engineering and Science and Business School divisions.

The University of Greenwich has three campuses including a sprawling one on the banks of river Thames with three buildings designed originally by Sir Christopher Wren in the 17th century. The admission timeline encompasses multiple points of entry round the year. Most programs start in September with additional entries in January and April. The University of Greenwich admission process encompasses direct applications via UCAS and also through the university website. Students may also apply through authorized representatives. Academic transcripts and references are required for all applications. Students may apply online and wait for their offer. They have to then complete all their application steps, and accept their offers for admission.

The University of Greenwich admission requirements include the following:

1. Minimum 50-70% (depending on the programme) in class XII with 70% in English or adherence to English language requirements for bachelor’s programs.

2. Minimum 55% in final year of a four-year bachelor’s degree for entry into a postgraduate course. Yet, those graduating from top universities like Calcutta, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, etc, will require 50% in the final year. 70% in English is required in Standard XII or adherence to English language requirements.

The University of Greenwich acceptance rate is 64.6%. The institution has 451 undergraduate and 148 postgraduate courses for students. There are more than 200 options available for academic modules while postgraduate courses include full-time, part-time and distance learning options. The institution has its own dedicated service wing for businesses, offering industrial consultancy, research and insights along with talent recruitment, mutual partnerships, support/funding for businesses, cutting-edge medical equipment and research facilities and venues for various business requirements.
