SRH University Heidelberg Requirements for Examination

English language proficiency test: International students for all the English-based courses and programs need to submit the English language proficiency test scores. The accepted tests are IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, and PTE. For IELTS the minimum score requirement is 6.5, TOEFL is 80, Duolingo is 95, and PTE Academic is 58. 

German language proficiency test: Since the university has the majority of the programs taught in the German language, it is important to take the German language proficiency test. Students are only eligible to take admission to the German language courses only with language proficiency. The students need to take any one of the following tests:

• DSH 2 or 3
• C1 of Goethe Institute

In order to successfully apply for courses and programs, it is very important for international students to meet the admission requirements. Admission is completely based on merit test scores and other criteria as mentioned below. 

• All academic records and transcripts need to be in original copy translated in English language or German language. The translation should be done only by legal authority officials.
• Students need to submit their school-ending certificate and pass education and qualification degrees. It is very important to have at least a high school diploma or secondary school certificate which has to be acknowledged in Germany. This certificate has to be accompanied by a legal translation into Germany or the English language.
• Students need to submit their test scores of the English language proficiency test and German language scores and certificates which are not older than one year. The scorecards should be in English language or German language precisely.
