  • Block C- Sitting on a gross land area of 30,600 square meters, this block is the second biggest on the whole campus.

Nonetheless, it can only seat 4,000 students as it only contains 55 classrooms, 13 Computer Labs, and two Science labs.

  • Block D– Although it’s the smallest block of the campus, it’s primarily known as a center for performing arts and dances. It has a small seating capacity of 700 students and an Administrative Office. It has a Dance Studio, Multi-purpose Sports Hall, Sports Therapy Room, Performing Arts Theatre, and a Tennis Court.
  • SIM Management House– This establishment is the sole block of the Namly Avenue campus. Even though it primarily acts as a base for most administrative activities, it can also accommodate up to 1,600 students.

Although a sufficient university by itself, the Singapore Institute of Management offers courses from other internal universities that it’s partnered with. As a result, there are several research opportunities in the university revolving around various fields of study.

SIM invites applications differently based on the course students wish to pursue. For a few courses, the deadline for applying for the Fall (August 2022) term is 22nd June 2022, while intake for Spring (January 2023) term resumes on 23rd June 2022.

On the other hand, direct entry to the rest of the courses is open till 31st May 2022, while non-direct entry closes on 4th April 2022. 

Admission Procedure of Singapore Institute of Management

  • International and local students can apply for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the university’s simconnect portal.
  • Before applying, students need to prepare a copy and e-pdf version of several supporting documents. These include educational certificates such as ‘O’ and ‘A’ level certificates, diplomas, degree certificates, exam transcripts, passport size photos in the JPEG format, statement of purpose, and CV.
  • International applicants need an online copy of their passports. Moreover, if they’re applying for a full-time program. In that case, they need to submit an online Student’s Pass (STP) application form, which will be processed for approval from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
  • Then, students need to submit their documents and complete their application by paying a fee on the simconnect portal.
  • Upon successful processing, the shortlisted candidates will be called to the SIM HQ or the Clementi Road campus for physical document verification.
  • The selected students will be sent an application outcome email within one month before the courses begin. Students must confirm the offer and accept the student contract to officiate their admissions.

It’s necessary to note that applications through simconnect cost around SGD 96.3 for local applicants, whereas the same costs SGD 481.5 for international applicants. 

Besides, students applying for programs offered by the University of Warwick and the University of Birmingham should possess two reference letters.

Admission Requirements for Singapore Institute of Management

  • To enroll in SIM’s courses, Indian students require 70% overall in their Senior School Certificate with 70% and above in at least 4 subjects excluding Physical Education. They also need to pass in English to meet the English Language requirement. The programs of the University of Stirling, UK, also need students to meet the same criteria.
  • When it comes to the Secondary School Certificate, students need a score of 60% overall and above in five subjects, excluding Physical Education.
