Brief History about Queen’s University

Queen Victoria established Queen’s University in 1841. However, the classes were started in 1842 when Queen’s College at Kingston opened with two professors and 13 students. For the first 11 years, it didn’t have a permanent place and moved around Kingston. Finally, it settled in Summerhill.

Queen’s University Exams Requirements

Students may need specific exam scores to satisfy the Queen’s University requirements for admissions. For example, some departments need a GRE score. Moreover, applicants who have not studied in Canada may need to submit their SAT/ACT scores. Additionally, international students may need to have English proficiency scores either TOEFL, Canadian Academic English Language Assessment, etc.

Queen’s University Admission Requirements

The Queen’s university acceptance rate is 89.1%. Following are the Queen’s University Requirements for Admission:

  • Students must have taken the subjects in the high school relevant to the UG program for which they are applying. 
  • They should have a minimum of 80% marks in them.
  •  Each student must follow the to-do list available on their admission profile. 
  • The students will get access to their profiles after they apply. 
  • If you live in a country where the primary language is not English, you must submit English Language Proficiency scores. 

Available Scholarships for Queen’s University
