Science students with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects in senior secondary school are eligible to pursue a degree in BSc Agriculture in the US. The minimum percentage criteria may differ from one university to another but the range is usually between 65%-85%. A high score especially in the subjects stated above would be beneficial. A minimum CGPA of 2.5 to 4. (higher scores required for better universities)
UK
To be eligible for a BSc in Agriculture in the UK, you usually need to have at least five GCSEs at Grade C/4, including English Language and Mathematics. You also need to have satisfactory level 3 qualifications, such as A-Levels or equivalent. You should have a minimum of one science subject at A level. Another option is to earn 30 points overall in the International Baccalaureate program.
Australia
Prospective candidates are selected according to academic merit, in the form of the ATAR or notional ATAR calculated by the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre. The ATAR entry score differs for international students from different countries. Students from India are required to produce a minimum ATAR score of 65.00 (CBSE, ISC) and an ATAR score of 75.00 (Indian State Board Examinations). To calculate a final average, students should determine the average of their best four final-year subjects.
